Appeals

As Edward Abbott Parry wrote in The Seven Lamps of Advocacy in 1923, "in the business of advocacy judgment is the goods that the advocate is bound to deliver." It is sometimes said that the greatest opportunity for advocacy is in the appellate courts. To that end, Colin has developed his appellate practice, and can help assess whether there are grounds for appeal in your case. The timelines are very strict for appealing matters from the date of the decision, so if you think you may wish to appeal a decision it is important that you get in touch with a lawyer as soon as possible.
